TKF is funded primarily through the Seeds of Hope Society members. This charitable group of people has made a long-term commitment to providing violence-prevention programs for kids by pledging amounts ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 over a period of 5 years. Is my donation tax deductible?
Your donation to TKF is 100% tax deductible.
When will I get a receipt I can use for tax purposes?
If you make your donation annually you will receive a thank you letter which
will have all the tax information included in the letter. Please save this
as we will not send you an additional year end statement. If your donations
are quarterly or monthly you will receive a year end statement sent to the
address we have on file in January of the following year.
When will my credit card be charged for my donation?
Your first donation is processed immediately, for monthly pledges they will
be processed on the same day of the following month. (January 5th would
be charged again on February 5th and so on) This is noted on the bottom
of your thank you letter also. Quarterly would be every three months from
the first date charged. (January 5th would then be processed again on April
5th, July 5th and October 5th)
Can I change the date my credit card is charged?
Absolutely, just call or email us the date you would prefer.
How do I bring TKF and Azim Khamisa to my area?
The best way to bring TKF to your area is to purchase our video and curriculum series, “Ending the Cycle of Violence”, available through http://www.chariotvideos.com/cycle.shtml. To bring Azim Khamisa to your area, contact TKF’s office (858) 565-0800 and speak to Katie Bowles x101 or Lisa Grogan x106 for details.
How can I spread the word about the work TKF is doing with others?
We can supply all the materials needed to share the TKF story. We have a package which has the TKF story on DVD plus brochures, student letter and TKF at a glance with some facts about the foundation. Information on our size and budget as well as the number of children served.
