Your partnership and investments have allowed us to grow, evolve and strengthen as an organization so we are better equipped to support our schools and communities on their path of recovery and healing.

ONLINE Courses Now Available! Plus: TKF Goes International

Last month, TKF's Directors trained its first international team of 3 facilitators with  United By Love, a nonprofit based in North Macedonia. The facilitators will be incorporating our Level 3 Restorative Workshop curriculum in their summer leadership program, with high school students from North Macedonia, Albania, and Kosovo. 

TKF Back-to-School: Live In-Person Services, in SD and Across the Nation

The Tariq Khamisa Foundation is happy to announce the return of in-person services at schools in San Diego and across the nation!

TKF is currently contracted to bring our Mentoring services to four schools within San Diego County, providing individualized attention and guidance to selected students.

TKF Moving Forward for Peace and Equity. Plus: Important Updates

Jac’Ques Morgan is the TKF Mentor at Johnson Elementary. As students return to school, he supports classroom teachers by helping to ease the transition from online learning to in-person learning. He provides one-on-one mentoring, group activities, classroom support, and leads service projects to create a campus presence centered on school engagement, safety and supporting the needs of students.

Honestly, I'm having a difficult time trying to find the right words to share my feelings with you regarding the shocking, devastating and horrific events last week at the United States Capitol. I am still angry, shaken and heartbroken. With the pandemic still raging and the continued divide in our country, everything feels so overwhelming right now.
